For the past 15 years Scott Weiner has been working in Berlin. His painting methods have been changing and evolving throughout that time. But some specific topics and subject matters have been repeatedly visiting him, entering back into his artistic process. Scott Weiners method of creating a painting is the result of a dialogue with the work which develops through the process. Painting a circle is already a concept. But for him creation is organic, there is always more to discover and what comes back always manifests itself for new reasons. “Through this repetition we constantly rediscover ourselves and our needs. They stand as symbols for our state of being.”
