The exhibition “Intimate Immensity” explores the idea of home and its emotional relationship with the individual. In his book, “The Poetics of Space”, Gaston Bachelard expresses that the concept of home is composed of both memories and images. We have all experienced these memories and images in each home that we have lived in and will experience them in the homes we are going to live in, allowing us to dream in peace. Through different artworks, such as video, installations and photographs, the idea of home is explored in relation to the space in which it is being exhibited. A home gallery space allows us to understand and enter a little more deeply into the strong personal relationships that we create and develop as our primary protection, our resting universe.  Bachelard states: “… with the image of the house we have a true principle of psychological integration. Examined from the most diverse theoretical horizons, it seems that the image of the house was the topography of our intimate being”.
